Menna Bahary

A teacher at the Faculty of Art Education, Helwan University – specializing in wood arts – a working member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists. She has participated in many group exhibitions, including the Agenda exhibition at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Rotary Club exhibition at Mahmoud Mokhtar Museum, and an individual exhibition entitled Tales of an Old Time at the Faculty of Art Education – Zamalek.

The concept of works: It is based on the complete manual formation to formulate the work from wood and what complements it, through thought and authentic dialogue between the past and the present as a kind of proportionality required between the intellectual and plastic communication between the inherited and the contemporary, and attention to philosophical dimensions and the formulation of contemporary concepts through formation and experimentation with wood And the possibilities of expression with this material, especially dealing with the expressive symbol in the arts of heritage Egyptian civilizations (ancient Egyptian art, Coptic art, Islamic art), through the diversity of the concept of work and its integration with the contemporary coding language in its formulation using the visual language of symbols in ancient civilizations, and the employment of all techniques and methods While maintaining the shape of the material and formality.
