Egyptian visual artist and an illustrator based in Cairo. Graduated from the faculty of Applied arts Helwan university with a Bachelor’s degree from the decorative arts department.
Started her career as an editorial illustrator for magazines and currently working as an illustrator in the production of children’s songs.
Human body is the lead of her artworks. It is the singular envelope of emotions and moods. She depicts figures in an exotic emotional state as if these figures are in a world of their own usually accompanied by still life objects or a very few other people. The ambiguity that characterizes her characters leaves the field open to feelings and imagination.
Mostly,she works directly with ink pens on paper with no specific theme in mind. She is not subject to the restrictions imposed by the standard anatomy rules and she creates her compositions instinctively without preparatory study, allowing her gestures to express themselves freely on the canvas.
