Ahmed Moustafa is an emerging visual artist, going from an experimental approach that focuses on colors’ dynamic and light effects that evidently reflect on his paintings’ surface and texture. He always seeks to explore relationships in-between the elements of his Painting’s compositions, conjuring themes derived from symbolic and poetic expressions, inspired by his individual experiences. His artwork demonstrates the concept of the body as a symbol and tool for expressing his meanings, which are derived from self-observation and the surrounding environment as well.
Moustafa was born in Cairo, Egypt. In 2009, he received his BA degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University. He has obtained his MA degree from, Helwan University, in 2017. His educational background is diverse; he also obtained a Traditional Arts & Crafts Diploma, from The Prince’s School of Traditional Art, London (Cairo Program) in 2017. Moustafa displayed his work in numerous exhibitions in Cairo and Alexandria such as The Youth Salon 26th, 28th editions.
